Wartburg Trabant IFA Club

We're thrilled to be welcoming the Wartburg Trabant IFA Club from around 10am onwards. Like all visiting clubs, the members' vehicles will be displayed in our outdoor exhibition area just outside the museum's main entrance.

Founded in 1969 as the Wartburg Owners’ Club. Only the Czech Wartburg Club is known to be older.

The Club evolved over the years to include Trabants and other vehicles from the German Democratic Republic.

Join us at the museum to see some rare and fascinating vehicles produced behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War period.
