The Lakeland Motor Museum has launched a new Annual Pass for visitors, providing unlimited access to one of the country’s leading transport heritage attractions and a range of discounts for other local attractions.

It’s the first time the Museum has offered an Annual Pass, following a flurry of requests from repeat visitors who want to return on a regular basis to see the ever-changing rotation of displays and exhibits.

The attraction recently revealed that more than half a million visitors have now passed through the doors since it moved to its current site at Backbarrow, near the southern tip of Windermere. It has also seen an upward trend in the number of people wanting to make return trips to the all-weather family attraction.

The new Annual Pass entitles the pass-holder to 50% off for up to three accompanying adults or children on each visit. It also includes discounted entry to four key partner attractions:

  • Windermere Lake Cruises: 10% off scheduled sailings
  • Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway: 20% off public fares
  • Lakes Aquarium, Lakeside: 10% off admission
  • The World of Beatrix Potter, Bowness-on-Windemere: 10% off admission

Museum Director, Edwin Maher, says, “The Museum has built up a reputation for always offering something new to see, and we’re finding that people do want to return on a regular basis. That is why we have introduced the Annual Pass to give cost-conscious visitors more incentive to come back and see us as we rotate our displays and welcome new exhibits throughout the year.”

The Lakeland Motor Museum’s new Annual Pass costs £15 per person and last for 12 months from date of issue. It is available direct from Museum reception or by calling 015395 30400.
