Club Visit: Blackpool Thunder Car Club (TVRs)

We're thrilled to be welcoming the Blackpool Thunder Car Club from around 1:30pm onwards. Like all visiting clubs, the member's vehicles will be displayed in our outdoor exhibition area just outside the museum's main entrance.

This event is extra special as May 14th 2023 marks 100 years since the birth of TVR founder Trevor Wilkinson. To mark the occasion, Blackpool Thunder Car Club is holding The Trever Wilkinson Centenary TVR Drive It Day where members and TVR owners will be hitting the roads and driving their cars to honour the memory of the TVR's founder. The drive sees enthusiasts drive from the original TVR Engineering workshop up to the museum where they will see the TVR2 in our collection - the 1952 TVR2 is the oldest surviving TVR.
